Black screen on boot (after installing with basic graphic mode) Surface Laptop 4 AMD

After some unsucessful troubleshooting on very poor performance with Fedore 41, tried reinstalling my Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 (AMD). So far every time i have tried to install Fedora Linux on this machine i have had to use " basic graphic mode" because otherwise i am greeted with a black screen after some cmd lines showing its loading the image. Now with bazzite stable 40 (for all AMD system) i had to use basic graphic mode again. Connected wifi in the installer, it updated and after installation and reboot shows cmd lines > Loading bazzite 41 (kionite) and then black screen again. I have been greeted by this problem on this machine by several Fedora versions and kernals, and would really like to get to the bottom of this. What i have tried so far: Fedora 40 (GNOME) kernel 6.9.x, worked (had to install with basic graphic mode) Fedora 40 (GNOME kernel 6.10.x black screen (updated from above, had to reboot and select previous kernel every time) Fedora 41 (KDE) kernel unknown, installed last week from ventoy (had to install with basic graphic mode) VERY poor performance and 100% CPU usage by KWIN_Wayland. Bazzite 41 stable kernel unkown (current!), installed just now based on bazzite 40 stable, updated automatically during installation (had to use basic graphic mode!) All i can find is mostly NVIDIA issues with black screens, and older kernels (5.x) which should be fixed according to forum posts. I suspect it only works in basic graphic mode (nomodeset?) and that the working installs add this to grub (?) which is causing my performance issues, and black screen after kernel update where it is not added to the GRUB cmd. Perhaps it is an EDID issue with the laptop panel resolution or somesuch, but i do not know how to troubleshoot this myself as i am not that experienced with linux (very with windows, linux is mostly from trying to mod games on steamdeck). Any help to get to the bottom of this, and learning some basic troubleshooting skills is appreciated.
