Fan control options for Bazzite for Desktop PCs (KDE)?
On Windows, I used a utility called Fan Control, and Argus Monitor before that, to set up fan curves for all the fans in my system.
I only installed Bazzite yesterday as my first Linux based OS, so despite documentation, I still need to find my bearings on how software is installed and the like.
Is there a built-in function for fan control in Bazzite/KDE?
If not, what software do people use, and how would I go about installing it on Bazzite?
Thanks in advance!

A little tip. You can type
ujust --choose
and then you can search for all the available ujust commands and it also shows you what the script does. So if you trying to find the cooler control one that's how you find it10 Replies
Cooler control, there's a ujust to install it
Thanks. I've read through the documentation on how these ujust commands are supposed to work, but having never worked with Linux before, I can't quite make sense of it. I'm a little hesitant to just randomly enter commands until one sticks. Any pointers?
Did you watch the YT video showcase of installing software on Bazzite - https://youtu.be/ITuT23YrgPs

NOTE: It is not recommended to install applications with rpm-ostree.
Video tutorial for installing software on Bazzite. This only focuses on installing Linux applications and not Android through Waydroid or Windows applications with WINE/Proton. Homebrew was only available as a ujust command when this was made.

Flatpaks are another way, that I've used for installing a fan control app
I have not, I will check out that video. The software Kyle mentioned does not appear to have a flatpak release however.
This is the flatpak fan control app I've used - https://flathub.org/apps/io.github.wiiznokes.fan-control

So if you trying to find the cooler control one that's how you find itI've tried that one via discover yesterday, but I couldn't really get it to work properly. I just took a look at cooler control, and that one looks to be more in line with what I'm accustomed to. Thanks for the help!
Ah, perfect. It says so on the documentation to, but for some reason it didn't click. I'll try that then, thanks a bunch!
Any time!
Worked like a charm, thanks yet again!
