.uk Domain Transfer Issues
I'm trying to transfer an old domain name from 123-REG to Cloudflare but I'm confused by Cloudflare's dashboard (I'm new to Cloudflare). I've transferred domains between registrars before and I'm used to trigger the transfer on both platforms in order for the domain to transfer successful. So far I've tried to start the transfer from 123-REG and all that required from me was to provide the IPS tag of the new registrar. I've provided that and it now tells me the transfer has been initiated but I don't know if I need to do anything within my Cloudflare dashboard to reviece the domain to my account? I've gone into the 'Transfer Domain' part of the dashboard but it tells me 'You currently have no domains available for transfer' but there doesn't appear to be anyway to add a domain. I've read through the 'Transfer your domain to Cloudflare' but it hasn't really helped me D:

You need to add the domain as a website in your account (including switching nameservers) to be able to transfer it to Cloudflare
I haven't messed with uk domains specifically before although I have heard of their weirdness with IPS tags, according to this: https://developers.cloudflare.com/registrar/top-level-domains/uk-domains/
If you request your current registrar to update the IPS tag before completing the checkout process, the transfer request will be automatically rejected. You must complete the checkout process before requesting the IPS tag update.Sounds like your transfer will just be rejected and you'll have to go through the proper flow

Cloudflare currently supports the transfer of .uk, co.uk, org.uk, and me.uk domains. To transfer a .uk domain to Cloudflare from another registrar follow these steps:
I've tried adding the domain/website which I think has partially worked (I've managed to configure the DNS records) but I'm unable to change the name servers of the domain because the status has been changed with 123-reg to transfer. The process seems really wonky but I imagine that's because I'm not used to Cloudflare yet.
I tried following that guide you provided which is how I ended up adding the domain and getting stuck now at the name servers
The process seems really wonky but I imagine that's because I'm not used to Cloudflare yet.Well, CF's Registrar is more of an addon service to existing customers then a standalone registrar. You have to use CF Nameservers, for example, and can't switch away. So they require you to get into the normal configuration first
