How saving plan work ?
Could someone clarify how saving plans work? The documentation is quite limited.
I understand that it helps reduce costs over a set period, but I'd like to know if, when I get a saving plan for a pod, it guarantees access to the same GPU for the entire reservation duration.
If I stop my pod for some reason, do I have to rebuild it, or can I simply restart it?
Does the saving plan guarantee access to the reserved GPU for the whole duration of the saving plan?
If I understand correctly, when I get a saving plan, I pay upfront for the reservation period, right?
Let’s say I stop my pod that has an associated saving plan for one day — does this extend my saving plan by one day, or have I lost a day of pod operation?

No don't stop it why would you lose money for nothing
Just restart if you need to
Yes youll lose time still when you stop pods with savings plan
And it doest guaranteed to the same gpu machine

Savings plan only provide discount price, if you stop the pod, there is a chance you won't get the same server. But you can create new pod and still enjoy the savings plan. Also, when you stop, the plan won't be extend.
