Clearing save file from mods
Hey guys idk why my server does this to me but it kinda seems like crashing due to high cpu usage. idk if its the mods or not. i downloaded the save and tried to open it without mods but it just crashes is there a way to delete the mod stuff from a save file?

The vanilla game is generally just fine at opening saves with modded content, so there's something unexpected happening here

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in #help-using-mods. This ensures that your help request won't get buried and forgotten in other, non-help channels!

Update these mods, there may be fixes for your issue in doing so.problem is i cant delete the mods or it just crashes
Is this generated just after a crash with no mods?
@sjhoward3 nop omw doing so 1 second
thats the crash
Well that's odd! Your crash says you still have mods installed on your local game, and your debug zip is fully empty
thats what i mean i cleared mods on myself but the save itself wont load up^^
How did you turn mods off? Because they're still on
i made a new profile on the thingy
There is a switch for turning mods off, try that
oh ok 1 sec
welp^^
the save couldnt be loaded still @sjhoward3 😄
Looks like there's a broken belt connection in your save - have you been using any mods relevant to belts?
yea flex splines was used but we stopped using it
You could try uploading your save to SCIM and then downloading it, sometimes that will fix this kind of issue
cant delete it tho
scim?
>scim

If you know of a particularly long belt you added with flex splines, it might even be worth deleting it on SCIM assuming it shows up
ok i will try ^^
@sjhoward3 the mod is showing up but with a 0 behind it tho
I could be wrong, but I think it uses the vanilla buildables, so it wouldn't be categorised
yeah i found it pretty tough to find everything with all the build stuffxD
can you maybe tell me how i delete them?
Right click an item on the map and hit delete
i cant cause there is so much stuff on it:D
You can restrict visibility based on height with the slider on the right
ok! ty
so the flex stuff didnt help ^^
You downloaded the save and made sure to load the _calculator one?
i tried both
even deleted the belts by hand 😄
Oh I thought you couldn't load the save at all?
i just put back all mods
i just cant load the save without mods ^^
i wanted to get away from mods and add 1 by 1 to see where the issue is
Yeah please do, but it'll be faster to do half at a time like this
>debugmods
