Fit check on leather jacket
Just grabbed this vintage leather jacket and was looking for some feedback on the cut. Guessing it's 80s or 90s? Shoulders look a bit beefier than I'd like when I move and the wide collar is somewhat dramatic, but I also have never had a leather jacket before. Stay or release?

I like it. the big collar is personal preference but I think the jacket fits you nicely
Agreed with Michael. Are you tucking it in or does close like that by design?

It isn't tucked, I just have the elastic trim at the bottom folded upwards. It sort of wants to do that when you zip it up and it drapes more nicely that way
I don't mind the slight crop it gives it too
I think it fits you as intended. The jacket makes some unusual choices that imo are pretty cool. But at this point it's a matter of personal taste.

I don't know why either. I wish I had better access to vintage here I guess
I'm pretty sure mine has some really slight padding in the shoulder so I'm toying with the idea of getting it removed
Shoulders are the biggest problem I have with mine
Yeah I see what you mean with the padding, but really like the dropped shoulder and drape on it
I love raglan sleeves in general and think maybe removing it will make me look less (literally) square
