Noob in Bazzite
Hi, I just discovered Bazzite through Reddit, and I have a Steam Deck, and I have some questions about it :
1-Is it safe and easy to install Bazzite on a SteamDeck?
2-Should I install it on the SSD or an external SD card (I only have 64GB on my SteamDeck, and I'm not planning on upgrading the SSD cuz I'm not familiar with electronics and afraid of messing it up, and will I encounter stutters of fps drops or shader prblms if I install Bazzite on a SD card ?)
3-Can I install UWP and Anti-Cheat non Linux Games on Bazzite?(On the website apparently you have containers, so can I run a Windows container to play those games?)
4-Can I add shortcuts of games installed in Waydroid on the library?
5-Why doesn't Bazzite support Non Steam Launchers ?(I know it was removed from the Decky store, but idk why though)

1. Yes, with one exception
2. This is the exception. It won’t install or work on the 64GB drive due to an upstream issue. Do not install it on the SD card.
3. UWP: No. Anticheat: depends on the game. Fall Guys yes. Fortnite no.
4. I can’t answer this as I don’t use Waydroid
5. Poor decisions made for the sake of “simplicity.” Its removal is a completely different reason from Bazzite not supporting it, which was from day 1. In fact, I have been against it since day 1 after my interactions with the dev

But since there's a 64GB drive issue and I shouldn't install it on SD card does, that mean I can't install it on my Deck ??

also to add some more info to 3.
you cannot run a windows container on linux
you can only run windows containers on windows.
you can however run a virtual machine but you will not be able to game on it with a deck (and also the deck already has extremely limited resources to run virtual machines and is generally not recommended)
