ALVR: Failed to create VAAPI encoder

Seems like hardware encoding is broken. This is fresh install. ALVR worked fine with bazzite 40 (gnome). ALVR errors: "Failed to create VAAPI encoder: Cannot open video encoder codec: Function not implemented Please make sure you have installed VAAPI runtime." "Encoder: No usable encoding profile found." vainfo: Trying display: wayland libva info: VA-API version 1.22.0 libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/radeonsi_drv_video.so libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_1_22 libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0 vainfo: VA-API version: 1.22 (libva 2.22.0) vainfo: Driver version: Mesa Gallium driver 24.2.4 for AMD Radeon RX 6800 (radeonsi, navi21, LLVM 19.1.0, DRM 3.59, 6.11.5-307.bazzite.fc41.x86_64) vainfo: Supported profile and entrypoints VAProfileMPEG2Simple : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileMPEG2Main : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileJPEGBaseline : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVP9Profile0 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVP9Profile2 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileAV1Profile0 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileNone : VAEntrypointVideoProc ostree-status: State: idle Deployments: ● ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-gnome:stable Digest: sha256:d4c237d6b9147cc56126f775ca4a3629fe652dc6f26bc7246984e54a91aa8e54 Version: 41.20241030.1 (2024-10-31T03:09:36Z) ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-gnome:stable Digest: sha256:258385734de22069ce42c19fdb5c64a70a54b6ccc99e5506ea371258722f36a8 Version: 41.20241029.1 (2024-10-29T15:36:33Z)

I rebased back to the latest stable image of 40 and HW encoding is working properly again. So something is missing/broken in 41. vainfo: Trying display: wayland libva info: VA-API version 1.22.0 libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/radeonsi_drv_video.so libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_1_22 libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0 vainfo: VA-API version: 1.22 (libva 2.21.0) vainfo: Driver version: Mesa Gallium driver 24.1.7 for AMD Radeon RX 6800 (radeonsi, navi21, LLVM 18.1.8, DRM 3.57, 6.9.12-210.fsync.fc40.x86_64) vainfo: Supported profile and entrypoints VAProfileMPEG2Simple : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileMPEG2Main : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVC1Simple : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVC1Main : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVC1Advanced : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileH264ConstrainedBaseline: VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileH264ConstrainedBaseline: VAEntrypointEncSlice VAProfileH264Main : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileH264Main : VAEntrypointEncSlice VAProfileH264High : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileH264High : VAEntrypointEncSlice VAProfileHEVCMain : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileHEVCMain : VAEntrypointEncSlice VAProfileHEVCMain10 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileHEVCMain10 : VAEntrypointEncSlice VAProfileJPEGBaseline : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVP9Profile0 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileVP9Profile2 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileAV1Profile0 : VAEntrypointVLD VAProfileNone : VAEntrypointVideoProc
