X3-Roads Highway-Fence Clearance / Identical Buildable

I've been trying to build some road-blueprints and ran into a few issues when trying to replicate the double-fence that is used by some of the templates. At times it seems to work and other times, I get the "An identical buildable is already built there!" message. I haven't been able to figure out what causes the issue to appear, as I've built double-fences using the same components before. Error occurs as multiplayer host (haven't tried singleplayer). I've also seen that some of the showcase screenshots use a functional double-fence, so it feels like the error is on my side.

It's a good idea, yes Screenshots on the mod page might be old, I'll see what I can do. I think there's something in the buildable/hologram to disable this disqualifier

Yeah I think Andre Aquila ran into something like this recently with his No Clearance mod. I did actually try that mod (and Soft Clearance on everything" as a workaround without any luck.

it's a different kind of disqualifier, it's not clearance Okay, it'll take me a while because I'll have to make a custom hologram in C++ and I'm too tired to think properly. But I saw two variants of fences (center and side), I think those won't result in this error? I think there's also road pieces with integrated fences

You are correct that there are different types of fences (Road Fence and HWY Fence), two styles with two "positions" each ("center" and "side") and it is actually possible with some effort to nudge and rotate the "center" Highway Fence into the desired position (Thanks Infinite Nudge!)
