if u got good pc get good monitor too
You should cap your fps to your monitor hz if your fps is suddenly dropping if you get 300 fps it's good but if your fps suddenly drop or if your game is lagging then you should cap your fps to your monitor hz.
turn off v sync
limit them at 248 or 144 fps
two options @Sakuta
1. Limit your FPS through V-sync to avoid screen tear
wouldn't make much difference imo, just makes your eye feel a bit more comfortable
2. Don't cap, additional FPS accounts into less delays, better competitive advantage
Don't use Vsync
works either way
his decision to use it, its not like vsync is a permanent feature that cant be deactivated
if it matches his experience, maybe he would keep it on;
if it doesnt suit his favor, he can turn it off anytime he want
You can try if you are getting any issue you can use but it should be disabled
