Bug or idk me being dumb
Idk WHAT exactly caused this issue, but both my user account password and kwallet password, which i setup on my allyx upon installation, worked. I used the SAME PW for wallet i used for sudo, which is just six numbers. My user PW is the same i use for anything i want easy and quick access to that i use for years now, so no way i misstyped that twice.
I suspected it might be an issue with me using multiple kb layouts (whatever was stock, german and swissgerman) since i'm from switzerland and we use ÜÖÄ daily to fükk with the rest of the world. I tried swapping kb layouts and hitting the same keys i'd use in my CH layout for the PW. None worked. Also wouldn't matter for my wallet PW, since it's just numbers.
Had to nuke my wallet and set it up new and had to follow this guide: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/Reset_Forgotten_User_Password/ to set a new user PW. Now both PW work no problem.
Question: Is this an issue related to me using CH and DE layout keyboards? I know when i had to enter the "universalblue" key on first install, my Ducky One2 SF keyboard DID NOT WORK (no input), but my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL did.
Grammatical errors are free for you to keep as i have plenty to spare. :11658pepepray:
