How to Restrict Auto-Mounting Windows Partitions in Deck Image
I'm dual booting Bazzite and Windows 11 on my desktop PC. My setup is using 3 drives:
- 1 NVMe for Bazzite
- 1 NVMe for Windows 11
- 1 SATA SSD for games storage (split into 2 partitions)
I have the SATA drive chopped in two with a partition for each OS (NTFS and ext4). At this time I'd only want to mount the partitions for Linux and ignore the Windows partitions to avoid any possible data corruption whenever I jump back to Windows.
I've tried using the Steam Game Mode image on my desktop, but I hit a problem where no matter what I try to do, Steam will always remount and read the Steam Library on my NTFS partition after a reboot.
This even happens after I remove the library from Steam settings, and go into Disk Utility to mark the partition to not be mounted on startup. After both of these things, it still auto-mounts the NTFS partition after reboot.
How do I disable auto-mounting of a specific partition on a Steam Game Mode image?
