So, i got a few questions. Nothing broken, just can't seem to make thing work or lack of understanding (first time on linux since we were forced to use school laptops in 2007 to write stuff). I also have a brain that has marinadet in pizza grease, so yeah...
1. When i'm in game mode, how do i access apps like discord or bitwarden? Discord is self explainatory and bitwarden i would need to use when having to log in to stuff, since i use randomized passphrases and email aliasess (also just passprhases with @whatever.bread for loggings...
2. Steam button > media > add a shortcut to take screenshots doesn't let me add a shortcut. Would like to have that, since i do like using photo modes but games like Forza upload the shots to their website and no local saves... plus the hideous watermarks.
3. Steam button > settings > system shows updates available but it's steamOS? Can/should i take those? I assume it's customized for Bazzite Updates, but i also sometimes wake up at night and eat two cups of pudding.
4. Is there a way to halt ALL game updates trough a plug-in? Outside of going offline or disabling them one by one? I got only two games that are online games and the other 240 or so i installed don't need to be updated every second. I plan on taking my ally on "vacation", but will likely have dogshit internet there and/or a data cap.
5. The decky plug-in "junk-store" is neat, but i remember hearing that it was meant for Epic and GOG? I only have seen a loggin for Epic, no GOG 😦
6. If you have a kids frendly tutorial on how to add things like an emulator or emulated PSX, SNES or "you know what" shortcut to game mode, i'd ben grateful. Edit: two hardware questions that came to mind: Using the controller for... controlls and about the fingerprint sensor. Not a thing yet or did i miss something?

2) rog ally swap will let you do that with steam button + right trigger

1. You can just open the discord app. add it to steam and launch it. You can run multiple apps at the same time in game mode
2. Hhd enable swapping start/select with QAM and Steam. You can hold the QAM button or Steam button to see all available chords, including screenshot. Only problem is that the ROG hardware doesn't support hold actions for the QAM + Steam buttons, which is why you need to swap with start/select
3. You can update fine, just note that the change logs in steam will be completely wrong since they're hard coded to the Deck change logs
4. No idea
5. Lutris and Heroic both have options to add games directly to Steam, usually something like "create steam shortcut for game"
6. Emudeck or Retrodeck, look up steam deck tutorials on YouTube, they generally apply on Bazzite

well, my "steam" button is now the top left one, which is i believe "view". i'm supposed to hold that and dpad down for a screenshot, but it no worky
i do get the shortcut list if i hold the steam button tho, but there it says "start recording" if i press steam+down where as the media tab claims it's for screen shots
