What are No-No's for cloudflare newbies?
I've been using Cloudflare for DNS for quite some time and recently learned about Workers, which I find intriguing. I'm thinking of tinkering with it and other free services offered by Cloudflare. My question is: as a student, what precautions should I keep in mind to avoid ending up with a family of digits at the end of an unpaid bill riled up in my bank statement.

That is a broad question considering the huge portfolio of services Cloudeflare offers. Which services do you plan to use?
DNS,R2 and workers for now.
If you're worried about attacks on Workers, disable the workers.dev and only use Custom Domains. You get rate limiting for free as well. R2-wise, just don't use infrequent access. No free tier and expensive
