Need some basics for work and night date or out outfit
Just reworking my wardrobe with a bit new style, so need some simple and universal combos i could work with. For that reason thinking to get massimo dutti pants and some sweaters, what do you think are good for basics? and can such combos workout?
Model pictures are just for pants im thinking to get.

the best way to find new combinations of clothes you like is by finding fits you enjoy, ie finding inspo in places like #waywt or #inspiration
shirt-pant-shoe is a basic set up for an outfit and the neutral colors you've chosen all go with each other
i would maybe get a button up over all those knits especially for work but that's a matter of my opinion

by button up you mean shirt or no?
regular or wider fit pants are trendy at the moment, but what is "slim" vs "regular" depends on the brand and your tastes
it's worth trying on the pants in person to see how they fit vs trying to guess based off a model pic
and yes, button up = button up shirt; i suspect you might prefer oxford cloth or some other cotton
