New Chinos fit
Just got these 100% cotton J Crew chinos back from the tailor. Wanted em to bring the fit in just a tiny bit, not sure how I feel. Love the texture, but the hip/crotch area just feels so wide and flat. Looking for thoughts on fit generally and on styling. Thanks!

I think it looks fine but maybe take out your hand from your pocket if you don’t want it to look so wide
Hips too tight (aka crotch spiders) are harder to tell if a hand or a bunch of stuff is in the pockets
Did you have them tapered?
I think I had them brought in a tiny bit, yeah. They were just crazy roomy before.
That can make a relatively normal top block appear wider than it actually is. I think they are fine as is though I’d vote for a straighter fit 😂
