Any fix?
We need way more info
Maybe record a video of that happening with MangoHUD enabled
I have a similar problem were the game mode UI Lags and I can hear something weird audio like scratching
Or a static audio
how should i know when to record bc it happens randomly
also i noticed while loading bazzite it shows 4 error lines and it leads to grub
ujust logs-last-boot
after it next freezes
there's just nothing to go on hereBut it has some frame drops on the game mode UI
nobody can help you without details
type the command he told you next time the game freezes again and send it here so people can help debug the issue
frame drops are also probably because of your hardware and game which you should list too. Like what your computer specs are and what game
It's the rog ally z1 extreme
Steam game mode UI
And where can I type the command
Sorry I am new to this
i still didn't get the random freeze or huge fps drop but it may be bc after updating it fixed. also where i can enable x11
cuz i got this
You are using a non-X11 window system (e.g. Wayland) which is currently not supported by SimpleScreenRecorder. Several features will most likely not work properly. In order to solve this, you should log out, choose a X11/Xorg session at the login screen, and then log back in.
x11 is dead
never coming back
then what should i use to record
OBS
other then obs
idk
blue recorder?
never used it
Any updates regarding the audio issue on the rog ally
do you use pipewire?
Nope
I barely know anything about Linux
Im on a legion go, and these crashes and freezes will NOT stop happening no matter what game or application, after some time the whole thing just locks up and nothing will help, fans spin up and down, obly solution is hard restart, ive installed bazzite so many times thinking this would be solved but there are 0 solutions to this problem....
open a help thread and provide more details, such as your TDP settings and workloads
Next time it happens you can reboot and go to desktop mode, terminal enter “ujust logs-last-boot > logs.txt” then you should have a text file in your file explorer root directory you can put in the help thread along with your description. Should help the devs diagnose
Done, already have one opened and added the logs
So after bazzite crashed randomly I checked the logs
There was no error
Post them
ujust logs-last-boot | fpaste
https://paste.centos.org/view/1c8c4800
