I like how they look in the pictures, and they seem perfect for my intended use, which is like a step up from a t-shirt; not as a dress shirt. Have you tried them?
They are ugly. They are made of plastic and will make you sweat. They will end up smelling bad. They are very expensive.
Just buy a regular polo?

I'm grateful for your opinions, and, well, they're not a polo or an OCBD. I'm not looking for either of those. I like the idea of non-button-down collar, buttoned cuffs, stretchy material, heather gray, and slim fit. I can throw one on with jeans and sneakers for a casual look. I'd be happy to look at other brands, and natural blends would be great.

Ok, they're bad. I just want to understand why they're bad.
And, to be fair, True Classic does not have a good reputation, and they seem borderline scammish.
If these are bad, do you know of something comparable, that is decent?
a wool cpo shirt/jacket will have similar properties - no button down collar, some stretchiness, somewhere between t-shirt and dress shirt in formality

As for why the shirts are bad: it’s just a poorly executed mix of ideas. Slim sleeves with a roomy chest can make the shirt look tight in some areas and baggy in others. Rather than committing to being slim or baggy it does both in a strange way. The same can be said about the fabric. A long sleeve buttoned shirt is on the more formal end but the fabric is closer to gym wear.
