Suggestions for cashmere sweater?
Hi yall! I recently moved to New York and realized my old cashmere sweater from Everlane has a couple holes in it. I’m trying to replace it with a cashmere sweater that will last longer and my budget is less than $200. I was curious what people recommend? I don’t need it urgently and my size is a small-Medium.
I would prefer buying it from a reputable seller rather than second hand because I’ve had issues on past orders where I got a knock off of the actual item I wanted. But any suggestions on how to buy authentic cashmere second hand would be much appreciated 🙂

You can get nice merino in that budget
Yeah cheap cashmere is not worth it and also bad for the enviroment
Yak wool is a good alternative if you want that soft fluffy feeling. Idk how much more sustainable it is, but it’s not contributing to overgrazing (yet).
Second the merino though. I have a $100 merino cable knit that I like more than my $400 Italian cashmere sweater.
where did you get that merino
Do you have any recommendations for merino?
I was thinking of going with Ralph Lauren or Abercrombie but I’m not sure if there’s a better choice quality wise
