They were literally made for ranked. Everyone wants to play duelist, and nobody wants to play smokes, so they're a duelist that can smoke.
omen also good as duelist if u use his flash and tp very well

clove is just really easy to frag on and carry ur team since you get full heal and can res
omen is stronger for supporting ur teammates but clove is just really good in ranked where people dont wait for sova drone or omen flash anyways

yeah main reason people play clove in higher elo is cause you dont need to rely on ur shit duelists to entry and not do their job
and when clove has ult normally ur team will say "clove go in for us"
