parka as business casual?
canadian winters can be cold - looking for a parka or something in that tier of warmth that also looks good in business casual settings - i don't wear blazers at my office, but certainly wear OCBDs or sweaters and chinos - i'm assuming a minimalist parka without noticeable branding will work?

it depends on the definition of 'cold', mostly
if it's cold (and rainy/snowy) enough to be detrimental to your health then i would use whatever parka or down coat that keeps you safe first, color/aesthetics second
i typically use the north face city breeze parka for awful weather; it's not the prettiest jacket but it's mildly stylish and more importantly, i'm dry and warm enough until i get into the office
for a definition of cold i'd say anything colder than -10 in celsius - warmer than that and i can manage with my leather jacket or (im hoping) with a wool blend coat that i also plan on getting
No one will care what your jacket looks like when it’s winter in Canada. Be warm.
Growing up Canada-adjacent....for real. There is a time and a place to be stylish. Sub-zero temperatures are not that time (at least when outside). I say wear the most functional outer layer you can find, enjoy the full range of fun winter wear underneath and scratch the fun outerwear itch at temperatures that won't make you miserable or dead.
Parka will work (maybe not Moose Knuckles one). You'll remove it indoors in office in any case.
