Are there any sunglasses that go over your glasses and don't look completely stupid?
I know everyone just says get prescription sunglasses but I've never seen or had a pair that was actually useable while driving and didn't produce intense headaches. (That's always a thing for me switching frames, even with the same prescription - if the lenses aren't EXACTLY the same it's quite painful.)

i just up clip-ons from amazon to be honest
looked up my specific frame, found a pair that fit, and use those for most sunny days
hmm, the only thing is I'm not sure how those work with thicker frames? I'm still waiting on my frames order to pick but I may be getting like a thicker tortoiseshell pair
i do have a pair of giant glasses from my optometrist to wear over my bluelight glasses for work and i accept however goofy i look for the sake of not going more blind
yeah, it's mostly a driving thing for me, so goofy isn't too bad but it's still mildly annoying
magnetic clip ons will usually attach to just the front of the glasses, plus others attach to/hinge from the brow
I'd need the hinge type with a lot of the frames I'm looking at, because they might not be enough metal
like this is one of the frame pairs I'm eyeing, right?
there are pairs that are designed to come with clip ons
this pair im pretty sure pesty owns
this seems like a simmilar vibe, if you are already buying new glasses as well
and they make a clip on specificaly for it
I would need it in...about a 47-15-130 or so. But yeah, at least it looks like there's clip ons for the plastic frames? I haven't looked in a while.
ahh yeah those are 50-20-150
but yeah they do
they for sure make generic ones as well
i was just pointing out that if you are buying glasses already some pairs have clip ons made for them and tend to look a bit better imo
yeah, no, I noticed some but that tends to be one too many things when I
I'm already an odd size
that's either women's extra-small glasses or kids for me, usually, and kids can be very hit or miss in finding things that don't look like kids.
yeah thats hard
I managed to get like a half-dozen frames to try so I'll look more once I figure out what I want
but it did take a LOT Of looking to find small enough frames that are also what I'm going for
Got these in a different colourway 👌
They’re not great as sunglasses though. They look really cool but are too small for proper protection
that's good to know. the primary concern is having something that I won't go blind if I'm driving into the sun for an hour.
Would definitely take something bigger then
I’ve got light sensitive eyes and pretty much stopped wearing the sun clips as they were not protective enough for me
