is the new agent good/ whats a fun but also good character for locking down and defending areas?
i just like defense

vyse isnt too good. deadlock can hard core lock it down, but any sentinel is gonna be defense oriented.
does deadlock wall easy to get rid of?

Vyse is good yes.
Cypher is a good character for defending and so is Killjoy.
Above all else though, you need to find an agent that suits you and your play style.
For example, I main Jett. I like her play style and she suits me best for the way I play. However Iso (another good duelist) I struggle with a little due to the major difference in how he plays and how Jett plays.

Each have their own advantages and disadvantages
now i have all 3 awesome
killjoy is a little hard to get good at tho
cyphers a lot more beginner friendly
