Steam big picture on NVIDIA?
Hello, I saw this distro on tiktok, and I'd like to try it out since I've been constantly switching between windows and linux distros.
Anyways, I was wondering if steam big picture works on NVIDIA, even though there is no Steam Gaming Mode support? I have a GTX 970, if that helps.

steam big picture mode will be super slow on nvidia, its a driver issue so nvidia has to fix it
@HikariKnight I had some issues with slowness in big picture on my desktop on Ubuntu and after searching the Steam forums found a few configuration tweaks in steam made it much, much better. Could this work for OP, or is there some other issue specific to Bazzite?
I'm using Big picture mode on my Nvidia desktop and it's running smoothly. Try close steam completely and launch it directly into BPM with
bazzite-steam -tenfoot
Also make sure that "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views" is enabled in Steam Settings >> Interface
One other thing, you might get some lag in BPM if you running at anything above full HD.The accelerated web views was one of the main values that made a difference for me, I think there was another but I don't recall what it was, I'm on mobile at the moment so I can't check. A quick search of the Steam forum for "slow" and "big picture" should turn up plenty though.
