What kind of haircut is this?
Hi guys, wondering what kind of haircut is this?
Thanks!

Just show your barber the photos and ask for the cut, it will be more precise than whatever name the cut may have. Totally normal thing to do and most barbers prefer it rather than hoping that you both have the same understanding of a specific haircut name
thanks! appreciate it!
I plan to do that but just wondering if this may have a name to hopefully get an angle on the back. front looks good with the photos
Iād keep in mind that the highlights and probably some hair product are doing a lot to create that texture. My thick wavy black hair is not gonna give that effect if I get that exact cut, for example. Something else you can ask your barber about tho.
thanks for the tip! I have black hair as well so I understand.
hmm is it perhaps an ivy league cut just without pomade?
it's a close enough match but you would be better served by showing the picture
otherwise you're banking on the barber's subjective interpretation of 'ivy league cut' which might differ from the picture or your perspective
If you're worried about the backside of the haircut, a reasonable barber is going to know how the backside should look proportionally or at least consult you on what options you have so you can make a decision on it.
The back of the hair is largely informed by what you're choosing to do with the top and the sides anyway
Thanks! appreciate the input guys.
not sure if he got it right. what you guys think
i mean it looks pretty good to me
difference might be your hairline (which is a nonissue) or where it got parted (easy fix)
sleep on it, do whatever you do for hair tomorrow and see how you feel
he said the same thing abt the hairline
what can I do at this point š
Agree it looks good as well.
Yes your hairline is different but it's no better or worse of a hairline than Ryan gosling's, just different
I usually get a better feel for how I feel about a haircut after I've had the chance to rinse/wash it and style it myself the next day
thanks guys!
now that I have had a time to take a look, it looks more like this
trying to go for this one, or are they both the same just the way the hair was styled?
i'm not sure how much time spanned the two pics but it's likely styling
you can likely achieve both with gel, just by whether you comb your hair or tousle it
I see, appreciate the input.
I'll wash this first and see how it goes
looks similar now, I better use a good wax and make it a bit more messy
