When ever i get a tutorial for using a custom domain with my minecraft server the srv option always has a box for the service and protocol but cloudflare doesnt? My srv wont let me connect to my minecraft server and this: (image 3) wont work.

I am planning to add more minecraft servers using diffrent sub domains
Target is the ip of the server
I was wrong

It just doesn’t work
I will send screen recording when I can
Your thing is wrong. Follow the instructions in the link then send a screenshot of the SRV record.
K
I can’t get to my pc for a few days
@David Wang there are your screenshots. The bottom one is me joining using the server listed as atm10 in screenshot 5
So it seems it worked? Or did you still have to put the port?

try putting _minecraft._tcp.atm10 as the host name if you still had to put the port number in order to join.
it did not work
that was me inside the server using the ip
Oh. An easy way to test would be to use <domain>:port and see if you can connect
k
If you can't even do that then something else is wrong
ok it worked
i think smt is wrong with the srv then
Yea. Try what I said and see if that works
i have a hypothesis
Yea?
atm10 ip
monifactory ip
they the same
but port diffrent
same with direwolf
If those are diferent servers under the same hosting plan, then that's normal
they are
If you use the atm10 domain with the port attached then it will connect to those different servers
Without the port it's looking for 25565
right
and there isnt a 25565
Yea
but the port is here right?
Based on the doc i linked, yea
so it should just work but it doesnt?
Did you do this? If so, you need to wait for the records to propagate
how long would that take?
Check a dns propagation site
But up to 48 hours
ok ty
