It's Game Algorithm, Increment or Decrement of Rank Ratings highly depends on Performance whether u win or lose respectively.
being mvp in a match got me like 6 rr, full bronze
slight mistake on silver lobby dropped me 30 rr
seems like a good ratio imo
its about your combat score and performance, you can get MVP whilst having a low ACS... also depends on your hidden MMR, aka where the game thinks you should be rank-wise
feels like my hidden mmr value is placed in between negative and 0 lol
but jokes aside i do have a high combat score in that match
