Not all Records Are Showing
So I've been trying to connect my domain top Shopify for the past few hours and no luck. I hat a chat with shopify support and they said to remove these AAAA records yet I can't even see them to be removed? There also seems to be records with Ips that I dont have any A records for yet it says I do? Im not particularly experienced in this sector, I'm just a man trying to run an online store. Any help much appreciated, thanks guys.

What's that tool on the right? Typically the issue with linking to third parties is having proxy on, where it should be off. It's also what creates AAAA records for Proxy IPs/flattens CNAMEs down to A/AAAA records. I don't see any AAAA records on your root hough
Yeah I remembered to turn proxy off, it wouldnt let it be created with it on. I am not aware of the tool name, I was on chat with shopify support and he said that to remove these records to connect to shopify domain.
And I said I cant even see those records to remove them.
Can you not blur them then? There's no point in blurring them, they're either CF's Proxy ones or Shopify's IPs, and they're saying they see them in public dns which would be viewable anyway. It might show something more
The cloudflare dashboard proxied ones you may want to actually blur to not expose your backend lol
Which ones are those, sry not familiar with this.
the IP address ones
The other one is helpful though, it's just who.is domain lookup. You can see those ones on your root are gone now: https://who.is/dns/eagleimpulse.com
Those were Cloudflare IPs from when proxy was enabled on it, when they looked it up it was either cached or you still had proxy on

Just to give some context I was just trying to connect my domain to shopify by adding 2 records, a CNAME and A. Which seems simple it says which to add and I added them both but It wouldnt recognise that I added an A fil and said it was currently an IP that wasnt even in my DNS that I could see.
The screenshot of the Cloudflare dashboard - proxied records do actually hide their target/content. I just deleted both though, doesn't matter
added them both but It wouldnt recognise that I added an A fil and said it was currently an IP that wasnt even in my DNS that I could see.It was because you had Cloudflare Proxy on the root one/A record You can see from the same who.is interface they used that it's all cleaned up now though, and your website loads fine for me
Thats so strange, I just went back to shopify and its worked now. FUlly connected
DNS is slow to update/heavily cached
I waited for over 2 hours I wouldn't expect that slow. But its fixed now. Appreciate your time, many thanks
