MPSync not working
We added this mod, so I could play when the host is busy, but I'm not sure how this works, we tried hosting using the MPSync option on menu and me joining but the game only saves to the host's MPSync account. How is it supposed to save to my cloud too? I thought it was going to do the job as long as I join his game when he's hosting using the MPSync menu. EDIT: (By the way my friend has the game with Steam and I'm using Epic games and the game was set to share to Epic)

update: when I host using session crossplay it works.. I guess it just doesn't work when the Steam player is the host
getting many errors and crashes tho
Epic and crossplay is a little iffy as I do not have epic to test with. I am planning some updates in the near future which will hopefully resolve some of these issues. If mpsync is causing crashes please share a debug log from SMM so I can try and figure out what's going on.
I just started playing with a friend (Both on Epic) I started hosting and everything was fine, I logged off and he started the game through MPSync and everything loaded as it should.
Now it's the next day, they are still sleeping but they told me what they had done, when I load the save via MPSync none of their added content is there, it's still the same save from when I logged off
Were they getting the message in the chat saying it was successfully synced?
I'll have to wait until they wake up, I'll let you know

it's not Syncing at all
and I cant Join at all, but it says he is hosting
ok...
On his end, he also had to set the Manage Settings to allow me to join
now when he saves it syncs
So it is working now?
Ah i see the bug you're referring to. I will work on it.
yes all working, the way I join is through the Epic interface Shift+F3
@Mattigins [MPSync] hey, i dont know if youve tested this although is a very specific stuation, if i give my save to a friend, hence we both have the map named for example "map 1" locally saved, it seems to crash the mod whenever the second person starts using the MPSync mod to host the continuation of the original map. idk what causes this but the crashes where constant until my friend renamed the map.
i think a little disclaimer would be enough to fix this issue
I'll try and replicate the issue and see if I can come up with a fix. Thanks
I cannot seem to replicate the issue. Are you able to replicate the crash and then send me the debug log from smm?
