Black screen after fresh install
Hey guys, Ive tried fresh installing bazzite onto my legion three times now, fresh iso each time and nothing but a black screen once install finishes. Any ideas?
WI would do a checksum on the ISO that you've downloaded, make sure it matches the one on the website. If the ISO is fine. Try this video which I made a while back for solving this kind of issue https://youtu.be/gE1ff72g2Gk. I would try and get into the desktop from the terminal if that fails then I'd try rollback to stable-40-20241014.

WDid you manage to carry on with the install after getting into desktop or did you need to do a rollback?
BHi there, I'm new to Bazzite as of yesterday and this is the first issue I've run into. Not a great experience! BUT after watching that video (the fix is essentially a single command oddly) I'm now up and playing games! My system is a 3rd gen Core i7, nvidia 3060ti running the desktop install.
BUnfortunately, after a reboot the blank screen issue remains. But it's random, it doesn't always do it. An issue like this that seems to have stayed unresolved with Bazzite for a good time now (pre-2024) is no good to me. Sorry to say 
WFor my Nvidia 1050 TI, I get a blank screen when it tries to show the login screen. It's broken for anything past bazzite-nvidia:stable-2024-09-30.0. Weirdly, if I configure an autologin, I don't get the error at all. But it crashes if I log out. So it seems to only affect the SDDM login screen.
I can also press CTRL+ALT+F2 and log in via terminal and start plasma with . This is my Nvidia install from March this year, and I tinker a fair amount. So not sure if the issue is due to my tinkering or If I'm reproducing your error. I'll need to test with a fresh copy of Bazzite to see if I can reproduce, which I can only do later this week, If needed.
