i cant find the area actions mode on mod manger

You probably have a filter on (most likely 'Compatible') which it doesn't match. It isn't updated for 1.0 yet!

when will it be
There's no ETA, but a while yet. The author, Mircea, has been busy leading development of SMM 3 and handling the launch, so I don't believe work has started yet.
