@Cronical
win+r, msinfo32, send a photo
What the hell are you talking about?
What do you mean?
this
i have to unplug and plug back in the cord for the pc
for it to be functional again
So how did you get that black screen?
by pressing advanced restart button
the youtube tutorials i watched told me to advanced restart
Right
Are you in windows right now?
windows 11
So yes?
yes
Ok
regarding the first step, i dont need to do the advanced restart, just normal restart?
ngl this is heavily complicated especially for those not proficient in English
Yes
Its not mine, its from the asrock website
I see
i can understand this, so i guess its fine
how do i identify the brand of my motherboard
You have asrock
So the instructions will match what you need to do
ok, thanks
doing step 1 led me back to this screen
And your pressing the del key right
yes
i spammed it
Use the F2 key
Go to Boot\CSM (Compatibility Support Module) and set "CSM" to "Disabled"
Go to Security\Secure Boot and set "Secure Boot Mode" to "Custom"
Please press "Install default Secure Boot keys" and select "Yes" to install Secure Boot keys
Set "Secure Boot" to "Enabled"
Then press the "F10" key to save configuration changes
(I 100% didn't send the wrong instructions :) )
@Cronical
i ran some tests
restarting while not pressing any keys would do a normal restart
same with when i press irrelevant keys such as the "d" key
however, when i continuously clicked the f2 and del key, it would lead to me to a black screen
which was this one
im assuming you dont have any other tips
You need to contact asrock
alright
thanks
so apparently this is the asrock contact form
are there any other ways to contact asrock since i cant fill out certain blanks as i dont have the information
like the purchase date
The purchase date is not required
All of the things with the red asterisks (*) are required
@Cronical
im not sure how to check the serial date
serial number*
There is an article
in the blue text
yea, but i would need the original box
i threw it out
It is also on the motherboard itself
idk how to check it since idk how to open the case
