Domain Nameservers

I have changed my nameservers on my hosting plan to those assigned to me by my free user account with Cloudflare, 17/10/2024. My browser gives me an error message - This site can’t be reached The question is how long does it take to be recognised and show my website again? Thaks.

Initially I would suggest try checking if your changes regarding NS are reflected try checking the namesevers of your domain on this website dnschecker.org
DNS Checker
DNS Checker - DNS Check Propagation Tool
Check DNS Propagation worldwide. DNS Checker provides name server propagation check instantly. Changed nameservers so do a DNS lookup and check if DNS and nameservers have propagated.

In that case, I suggest sharing your domain, so we can take a look at what we see. (🔮 is unfortunately on vacation.)

No problem. It's a very old site and is of no real importance, just annoying its not visible....www.mrstarkey.co.uk

You will need to obtain the relevant DNS record(s) (typically such as AAAA, A or CNAME) from your hosting provider. DNS records can be added/modified/deleted over here: -> https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records Currently, neither mrstarkey.co.uk nor www.mrstarkey.co.uk has any of such DNS records attached, which is why the website isn't reachable.

I followed the instructions to change the domain server name and for some reason it hasn't worked. I opened a support ticket to ask for advice but they always take 3 or 4 days, sometimes never. Tsohost.

The name severs has been changed, and has been propagated out. But due to the missing DNS record(s), browsers won't know which server (e.g. IP address) to contact, in order to see your website.
