It looks like you have not yet generated the debug info file!
Please do as the mod manager requested. Click the "Generate debug info" button and send the zip file in #help-using-mods otherwise we will not be able to help you!

triggered by @AnshApp images debug file
Could not reach ficsit.app
If you are running Linux you need to use a special build of SMM3 to work around a bug right now. More info here: https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/1294102072131719230/1294364136079364209

Yup idk what to do
Read the bot message after my message
Should have triggered on the image you sent, but didn't, so I forced it
As for the no installs found error, how did you install the game?
through steam
Steam installed natively, snap, or flatpak?
using .deb file so i think native
Which of
~/.steam/steam
and ~/.local/share/Steam
exists?tried the solution same problem
yes
Same no installs found problem, or same could not reach ficsit.app problem?
I tried using app image and standalone
appimage cant reach ficsit.app and standalone cant find install folder
I have installed the game on second ssd
Yes which of the two?
I am not sure bc i see both folder with steam but i think ./local/share/steam
??
Wait a bit
I am making a build that should fix it
Got it thx
same problem

It found that
Wait, why is that timestamp from yesterday?yes it did but it the appimage one
had a wrong time i think
can you tell me which standalone should i run and send the debug file for it
This, but download it again
Uploaded a new build with the same filename, so it's the same link
what do you means same build bc i dont have any experience with mod manager or the game
Build as in I compiled the code
oh ok
so basically download it and run it and see if it works
See if it works, and if it doesn't, send the log from it
ok
did not work
having the same issue
Are you running it as root?
yes
Don't
ok i try again
It doesn't need it, and also steam files are per-user, so it can't find them because it's using the root user instead
Also, for the appimage issue, I just set up a debian 12 VM and couldn't reproduce the connection issue
The standalone works if i run it without root
Thank you so much @Mircea (Area Actions)
Does the github release version also work if run without root?
i can try
yes it works i think the issue was that i was running it as root
