Need help with a new wardrobe
Hi everyone, I’m planning a trip to the UK in early November, and I’d like a new wardrobe for the trip and in general. I’m 25 years old, 170cm tall, and weigh 75kg. For tops, I wear M/L sizes, and for trousers, I’m a 30/32. I’m open to new styles and fits, as I don’t have a specific preference
I can also provide any other details if necessary, thanks

I would check #inspiration and save some pictures of styles you like and could see yourself wearing then go from there buying pieces that fit that aesthetic/vibe
also check #waywt !

we can't make your whole wardrobe for you, but happy to suggest brands similar to aesthetics that you like
so find some inso and post it here if you want more help
Alright, I found some of the fits I like
Forgot to mention: whatever you decide to get, buy pieces slowly
Buying a whole wardrobe in a few weeks let alone a few months is a recipe for spending money on things you wont end up wearing or liking in the long run
but those are some great inspo pics
yeah i would start with what do you like about these fits
2 of them have wider flowy?ish pants
if that could be something to look at
They are very different styles, I think you should narrow down a style to go for so you can pair many different tops and bottoms seamlessly
I wear the same fit nowadays and it's comfortable for me. I avoid very skinny pants, but if its necessary for style I can wear it
Yes, but I want casual and formal as well
are you unhappy with your current style?
or just want something new beacuse
Not unhappy tbh, just want to try something new, look into more formal wear
I’m not sure any of the examples you listed are formal. Maybe you’re thinking of going more into casual tailoring?
Yes, you are right. I meant something like that
what does your wardrobe contain now? do you have examples of what your current style looks like?
might help to bridge the gap a little bit
What I’m gathering is you want monochromatic casual tailoring. I’d take a look at COS
For example this is one of the fit I like from my wardrobe
Depending on your budget there are lots of other good options in a slightly higher price range than COS
i feel like some pleated pants would go well with the fit you posted to make it a bit closer to casual tailoring
Oooh a good transition piece would be pleated black trousers
This is something I wear as well.
NN07, Beams, Our Legacy, Margaret Howell (all of which can be found on sale in different places)
also if you are going to be in london durring that trip theres lots of places to try on cool stuff there
Yes, London, Liverpool and Edinburg
:letsfuckinggo: hell yeah love all 3 of those citys
I wanna try coat and style for that
Is it good option for 170cm?:xd:
if its november you will need it, it was cold AF when i was in Edinburg in october
long coats look good longer
so they are good for any Hight as long as its not like dragging on the floor, but i would be shocked
and even then thats kinda a vibe
Yes, I am between coat which is not very long or either leather jacket for some edgy look 😂

the other shrimp dose a lot of semi tailoring leather jacket looks
Yeah, those look good, especially first two
not quite the same style, but Joel always puts together longer cut fits really well
Both look very good, but I think I wanna go with a slightly above knee length coat?
in that case lets analyze what this inspo pic does really well
- good monochromatic color
- casual shirt to slightly relax his appearance
- pants fit really well with enough room to flow
he's gone for a coat that fits him well in the shoulders, but he could have gone with something a little more relaxed in the shoulders too
pants could be wider, but probably wouldn't look as good if they were skinny
because the way that pants flow when you move can have a measurable effect on your outfit
so when you're picking clothes to buy or just to put on from what you have, think about how your clothes interact, how they sit on/move on your body, and how it all gets put together
Hey I’m ngl just buy black pleated pants and try them out

buy this pair, wear them and play with your current wardrobe because it seems to be what you want
Wow, you described everything so well, I agree with your points. What do you think of the color of this coat? I prefer darker ones, maybe dark gray or black
char makes your life simple
try things, but slowly on the purchases 🙂
come back if you have more questions
What kind of footwear would you suggest with this pants?
personal preference on color. up to you and what you want to wear it with
the stuff you have in pics will work
try the pants if you dont like how things you already have work
then consider new shoes
I like the black shoes you have here https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1296890470063931432/1296896827848917053
Alright, thanks guys
