The sun subtends an angle of $10^{-2}$ on the surface of the earth. What radius of curvature lens should be used so that the radius of the image of sun is 2cm?

Assuming refractive index of lens = 1.5
Di = f(θ)
So 2 x 10^-2 = f x 10^-2
So f = 2
By lens maker formula R = 2m
@SirLancelotDuLac
I see.
