error checking storage configuration help
Hi I need help, I'm getting the error checking storage configuration. Dual boot Rog ally x on same device
I've allocated 1.5 TB which I thought would be enough
This happens on first install

I've also tried this but when I create the mount point it says it already exists
They don't show in Advanced Custom(Blivet-GUI)
Could you check that your partition table is GPT and not MBR? That can sometimes give errors. Plus if you did a dual-boot and Windows did an update it would nuke your Grub every time. You can check this in KDE Partition Manager, Gnome Disks or GParted
Stupid question but do you mean my windows partition or what the bootable usb stick is?
I mean the disk that you are trying to install Bazzite on. It's not at a partition level, it's the partition table for the whole disk.
I haven't checked yet will do later but most likely MBR then because all I did was put windows on with default settings and split the drive partition
So I made the usb stick bootable with win 11 again but this time selected GPT and the partitioned the drive and tried install bazzite to it again and I had the same error
What I decided to do is it works if I delete all partitions and put bazzite on
Then what I'm thinking is partition bazzite with KDE and windows on the unallocated space ?
Rather do manual partitioning in the Bazzite installer and leave some space for Windows at the end since you cannot resize the partition of an active linux system. However, if you have already installed Bazzite, you can just boot a live distro (I use Linux Mint) and resize the main Bazzite partition in Gparted. Then you should be able to install Windows 11 in the free space. I haven't tested that this works with Windows 10 but it definitely works with Windows 11, for me at least.
How do I make the usb bootable again? In bazzite it isn't seeing my usb on Rufus?
Do I need to use etcher and put Linux mint on it?
I usually just use Ventoy then I can just copy over the ISO files and boot them directly. But etcher or Fedora Media Writer is an option too
Too complicated for me went back to basics put windows back on and trying again lol
Is there a problem with the Rog ally x KDE download?
Keeps saying could not download
