Ally X - Desktop Mode - Screen Goes Blank after inactive can't wake
When my Ally X with the latest version, and the new powersave setting set. When the screen goes blank in desktop mode, I can't wake the device. Having to hard powerdown and start again.

Is reproducable, when screen is blank, got solid white light. Right Stick as Mouse not working.

sudo journalctl -b -1 | fpaste if it happened the previous boot?Power button turns white light off, and power button again, white light on. But no screen. Will reboot and get logs

Ok so when screen is blank, can hold the bottom right button to change to controller or Mouse. Get the Buzz or Double Buzz.
Nothing wakes the screen
Touch dosn't work.
touch does not work while screen is off
Let me reboot again and turn off new power setting see if it goes away
its not the new power setting onexplayer devices have it too
i think its hhd, i must have messed up the power button

Ok. I can wait for fixes, and remember to keep busy when in desktop mode for now, rarely in there.
One thing I tested before last timeout was using power button in desktop mode. And that worked, turned off, and was able to turn it back on with power button. So it appears to be related to inactive timeout somehow.

Got the same issue on My Default Rog Ally Z1 Extreme
I am having the same issue here, is there a potential fix for this issue? I have pulled my logs and one error stands out
[ERROR asusd::ctrl_platform] couldn't set powersave: Io(Os { code: 13, kind: PermissionDenied, message: "Permission denied" })
