if you meant ranked, there is an easy answer aswell
Level isnt taken into account in matchmaking. Level doesnt equal skill. Dont worry about the level. The rank difference could be because your MMR is very high. MMR is your hidden rank. Every visible rank is tied with an invisible rank. So the game basically thinks youre as good as ascendants.
