Incorrect determination of IP address location
Hi there 👋 Recently, I rented a virtual server in Germany to use as a VPN server. The IP address assigned to it, according to the RIPE database, belongs to Frankfurt, Germany. However, according to the debug page (https://www.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace), Cloudflare identifies its location as Russia. What could be the reason for this? Screenshot attached. Cloudflare uses Maxmind, I would check on: https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-web-services-demo
If it's correct: Give it a few weeks for CF to pull the latest version
If it's wrong: You can submit a data correction there and/or maybe bug your vps provider to push geofeeds to the various IP Databases, they should be doing that..
