Trying to find direction in accessorizing
Maybe this is once again FOMO or just never being satisfied, but I feel like my fits have not been popping lately and I think details are the way to step it up.
I'm collecting a few of my most recent fits, and I feel like I'm almost at what I want, but I'm unable to express the 100% slam dunks that I think I'm capable of. I've posted some inspo here as well to try and ask the people, what should I be doing?

Honestly a necklace is very helpful
Yeah it does seem pretty common amongst the images here

Can break up a monotonous center block
there's not a lot of visual variation in the fits you've posted (pants hitting at the same spot, mostly solid blocks of color), whereas in the one fit you highlighted that worked the holder breaks up the center block

Yeah breaking up the clean lines is probably the move, you’re trying to get higher visual density, breaking up the big shapes helps with that, patterns and texture also help depending on what they are
The trick is to increase the density while keeping things cohesive
Necklace/rings are the obvious shouts, you could go for pins or brooches if you wanted something weirder
