Simple Underground elevator help

ive been using the Simple Underground mod by @Andre Aquila <Aquila Industrial> and have found it very helpful but was wondering if there is a way to get the underground elevator to snap to foundations placed underground? Currently it appears on the black plane it creates at the bottom of the world but if there is a way to make it appear higher up please let me know. i would really like to build and underground train network and have the elevator be at the same height as the rest of the platform thanks
