What should I wear in UK in early November?
Hi guys,
I am 25 y.o male, 5"7, 73kg, basically I want your recommendations on what should I wear in UK during that period.
I am thinking on wool coat, leather boots, dark colors in general

Those clothes would probably be fine. It might be rainy in November and it will not be hot but it depends on where in the UK you are going to be and what you are going to do. Climbing a mountain in Wales requires different clothes from visiting Liverpool and sitting in the Pub all day.
Mostly city exploring, Liverpool, Edinburgh and London
Layers and a small umbrella
Could do leather boots or trainers/sneakers tbh of you're just doing city walking
yes, I am thinking to take leather boots and sneakers. Is waterproof/insullated jacket necessary or can I go with leater jacket with layers/wool coat and umbrella?
Prob safer to just buy hat scarf and gloves over here tbh. Some years have been more wet than cold
With Jan / Feb being actual cold weather. Climate change, innit
Not really a big fan of scarf/gloves, is it that cold?
Waterproof is a safer and lighter option. Gives you more options for layering
It can be. Hence don't bother bringing
For ref it's about 15⁰ at the moment, could go down to 8 or 9⁰ but I doubt it will be colder than that during the day
Yes, I was thinking about some Northface waterproof jackets, but tbh I prefer some stylish/formal wear
I'm getting away with just a sweater during the day and a light jacket in the evenings or just a zip fleece at the moment, but my tolerance for colder might be different than yours depending on what you're used to
It will most likely be wet tho
I come from mostly mild climate, its slightly warmer here than in the UK. So wool coat might be too hot in that period?
I haven't needed to get my big coats out yet
I'd just check the forecast a few days before you leave - it's mild at the moment but we could easily get a cold snap in a couple weeks, you never know here haha
If you're planning on going out at night then yeah maybe a warmer jacket needed
alright, thx a lot
I have :xd:
It was a cool dry windy day here on Sunday and I was wearing base layers a fleece and some wool socks as well as "normal" clothes. The big coats aren't out yet.
Today it is pretty warm but absolutely pissing it down.
The weather is unpredictable, plan closer to the time.
(Current long range forecast is for a colder and drier spell in early November but the long range forecast is about as much use as a chocolate teapot).
