Loro Piana jacket - is this an easy patch/repair?
Found this LP jacket on eBay and the only apparent issue is a small tear in the back. It looks like an easy patch/repair but I’m also not in the know on what’s involved in the repair process. Any thoughts?
The jacket is 100% wool exterior.

if you're content with a slightly visible repair it's easy imo; if you're getting it dry cleaned then they should also be able to close the tear
i would make sure it doesn't go through the lining first but if not i don't think it's a big enough tear to warrant patching
Thanks so much. Yeah, I thought it looked small and given the color of the coat I think it would be an easy fix to hide with only close inspection showing it. BUT, I’m not an expert so appreciate the insight!
There is a technique called darning through which the damage can be closed quite nicely. Given the heathered shade and the flanelling, it would be hardly visible.
Try talking to dry cleaners in your area. Some may work with local darners.
You can learn to darn this yourself, its super easyy
That is fixable. LP will do it themselves for free if you ask nicely.
