Underground Belts - Storage
Is it possible to let the underground outputs not have a storage, I think its rather annoying and doesnt really help as i always use standalone storage units.

from this image it looks like you cna change the buffer size:
however - all things that can possibly input from multiple ports or output to multiple ports have internal buffers/storage like this - its part of how the game keeps things running smoothly, and without it will cause hiccups and stutters in your belts.
but @Andre Aquila <Aquila Industrial> would know more
yeah set buffer size to 1, that makes it only store a stack
talking about this
i dont think it respects that stack size setting
on the outputs
no it does
it just doesnt update the visual inventory
but it does keep to the max size
Hmm, yeah, i think it will only fill 1 stack if 1 is selected... Is it working properly?
it keeps around 5 stacks no matter what i put as the buffer size but it’s in multiplayer maybe that’s the problem?
No it’s filling to 5 stacks even when all the input buffers are set to 1
hm, i'm also in multiplayer and have no issues, odd.
does it have to be a special configuration, like should i first put one input, set the buffer size, get another input, set the buffer size … and then the output or does that not matter?
also regarding the underground belts, when played in multiplayer and trying to add underground belts to existing belts which have been built by another player, you cant do it properly. when you give one output a name all of the belts have the same name, even those which dont belong to the named belts
shouldn't matter? i mean theres the limitation of one input and however many outputs OR one output and however many inputs but aside from that..
ive only used this with more outputs and one input so idk maybe that might be it?
i don’t know i’m gonna try the two options and see if it makes a difference
?
Hmm, today im testing it in a dedicated server.. Will fix the naming / adding.. and the buffer size limiting in mp games 🙂 🤞

I tested it alone in multiplayer and its working 10 times better. the naming works, the adding belts to existing one works, no visual bugs atm. but i will let you know if something doesnt work when we play together on the server. Thank you for your fast fixing!
I also tested the addition to existing belt system and it’s working fine in multiplayer now.
