This is a standard network timeout, it's not something which can be diagnosed with logs unfortunately

I am assuming the entire server restarts when this happens? Or do you just timeout after which you can join back right away?

nop just normal multiplayer joining a friends game. a day before everything was working fine with all mods! If we do a NEW save it works fine too :/

nope they just get that message above i posted with that error. I completly freeze when i join and have to alt F4. And if I host the game he will freeze crash. Solo the save is working so there must be something wrong with mods they updated

Did you add/remove any mods since yesterday?

from the logs I can read that the game cannot find a few assets which is throwing errors. Since a new save works fine it might be something you/your friend have in your/their inventory/something is in the world where you/they spawn from perhaps a missing mod or something like that. If you've recently uninstalled mods, try installing them again or try removing said items with a save editor is possible
