Stack Resizer Mod Not Combining Stacks Properly
When in my inventory or container I try to combine stacks to the value I have set. When I drag stack onto others in order to combine them, they do not combine but instead disappear, causing me to lose items. Bug?

I did not remove any mods. All I did was downgrade back to 1.3.0 and the problem went away. We can mark my problem solved. Peace out!

Sorry, I just saw your post. Did you update it to v1.3.2?
Yes, but that was causing the problem in v1.3.2. So I reverted back to v1.3.0.
I only play solo.

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in this channel.

And yes, I did clear the cache. And yes, I did restart SMM, and I even reverified my game files. The problem remained. I downgraded from 1.3.2 to 1.3.0. The problem went away. The issue is in 1.3.2. Hopefully you can figure it out and fix it.

I can't reproduce it yet, but I'd suspect it's a conflict with other mods since you're the only one who reported this issue so far.

I already downgraded back to 1.3.0. Problem solved. Was really hoping you could check your code in 1.3.2.
Well they told you others are not having this problem, which indicates a potential conflict, and asked you to narrow down mods using the flow char to see which, when removed, causes it to go away

It's not just them, I'm having this problem too. Occasionally machines I'm building will get stuck on the vanilla stack sizes and then run forever as the game tries to load up my custom stack size from the mod but never reaches it. I have to go into the config for the machine and drag the item(s) to the trash and delete em then it updates to the custom size.
This is what I have it set to.
Occasionally I have multiple stacks of the same item and when I click sort it will delete one of the stacks and not combine them too when sorting in any container or my inventory. I had a storage container from another mod with 512 x 1000-stacks of something and clicked sort and it reduced the entire container inventory to just 6 stacks, even though they were all at 1000 stack already with 512,000 items in the container.
There is definitely a bug with this mod. However I'll try reverting back to 1.3.0 and see if that fixes it.

Update these mods, there may be fixes for your issue in doing so.I think this has already been fixed, but SMM didn't tell me there was updates for Stack Resizer. I didn't know about the beta versions until I posted my debug info here and FICSIT-Fred said there were outdated mods. I had to select manually to find it. I'm trying 1.3.3-beta2 now.
I had this problem too, but saving and then reloading always fixed it. in fact, that's what I do immediately, after changing stack size. Save reload and BOOM you've got a stack of the size you want.

I'll go back to my lead-production factory and sort the boxes a few times to see if they get messed up again.
It seems to be working fine. I even used my mouse auto-clicker program and basically clicked sort 2500 times and it didn't mess up or delete stacks this time.

now I can go back to the other side of the map and work on automating computers @ 500 items/min with Belt&Miner mod :)
Now Take-all when taking lots of stacks seems to be broken and it reverts to the vanilla stack size when we do take-all, I'm preparing a short video for you to see.
The only thing I can think of is this container had many items in it from when 1.0 first released and then later I added the stacks resizer mod to the game and increased stack size and it re-filled the container, stacking up to 1000 per stack. Maybe it's something broken because it's from before installing the mod... and maybe if I clear it out then as it re-stacks it works again.
Yeah I think that's something to do with older game and older container and never clearing it out, now that it's cleared out it's working normally as expected as it refills.
So I need to go through and empty out of all of my storage containers once and let em re-fill then.

Also bug:
when stacks are set to something higher than normal, you copy settings from a production building and paste it in another, connect the input. inventory of production building still just goes up to normal stack size but consumes infinite ressources from input. doesnt happen everytime!
I turned off "Container Screens" mod and that seems to of fixed it. I think it was a conflict.
nope.. I tried "Take all" and it came into my inventory in the vanillia stack size.

I did a quick test before bed, removing every mod I can that will still let the save load and it's still doing it on "take all": reverting stack sizes from the customized 1000 with Stack Reszier -> 50/stack for computers vanilla on take all. I have to have "Flex Spines" and "Belt & Miner" loaded, if I don't have those then the game crashes on save load, I guess because I used them too much in my playthrough.
I don't think either one of those two has anything to do with stack sizes though.
Now I can reproduce it, so the problem only happens when you set all stack types to the same size

ok so what i just did is what ever machine was making something i removed the output and let it fill back up and that did fix it for the connected containers if that helps you any

Whatever changes you made seemed to have fixed my problem, so I just upgraded to 1.3.4. Works just fine.

@Liquid5150 It works fine for me when I set it to 9999. Then again, I do not use the sort button at all.
@rcthardcore i have a mass storage blue print that consist of 258 industrial storage containers so it takes a while to fill age 500 per slot lol
Imagine combining the big storage container from Belt & Miner (512 slots) with this mod for 1000 per slot .. :>

one of my fav mods was diffculty tuner ..bad thing is we wont see that mod for 1.0

are you sure? there hasn't been an update afaik and it's still not retaining adjustmets after a reload for me
Make sure you set your SMM to "any" for the mod version so it gets updated. Yes I'm sure. If it's still acting up for you then manually select mod version and make sure you're on version 1.3.4 which includes the latest fix for it.
