fps issue
Hello, i got a problem with the shown in game fps (the top right graph) claiming i have half as much fps as my graphics drivers claim... I guess it has something to do with my computer but when the pc was new, both were about the same... Its been about 2 months since and my fps have halved in that period
Is there any way i can get my fps back to the original (and back to be the same as my graphics driver claims it runs at)

this might be super obvious but check your task manager to see what apps are using the most gpu
Same here
Check your task manager to know what is taking up your gpu
val obviously
my gpu aint running at 100% anyway
it claims i have 500-600 fps on val
i used to but not anymore
could be other components bottlenecking it
yea i thought abt that but the thing is i used to have 500 fps only 2 months ago
it lasted a week or so before slowly going down
all new components
have you run a virus scan, it could be a miner
sry i missed your answer, i do often and never found anything, i use windows defender tho but its good enough for the most part as far as i know
my pc also crashes way too often, either due to val (launch, closing, alt tabbing) or when i start it up its just frozen on the welcome screen
maybe good to note that i use valorant tracker on overwolf, i know it can cause me to lose 20-30fps but not 400...
