is there a way to install mods without the mod manager?
somehow my pc doesnt like the mod manager exe

no i mean my antivirus is blocking it
i put the SML mod into my FactoryGame/Mods folder but it doesnt seem to work
Better to sort out the AV problem than try manual installation, to be honest
is it that complicated?
you should be able to tell your AV that it's safe, somehow
yes, mods are updated all the time
and have complex dependencies
but i cant even enable the SML, let alone real mods
which is why it's better to try and get SMM to install than handle it manually!
can you just tell me how to install SML manually, i dont trust anything that gets detected as such
Nope, that's unsupported on this server
Either way, you're adding software to your PC - SML (which is developed by the same team as the mod manager) has just as much access to your PC
weird, it should simply be adding Satisfactory_Mod_Loader-Windows-3.8.0.smod to my FactoryGame/Mods folder
