Killstreaks are a new addition, giving players certain rewards after reaching a certain number of kills in a row.
Currently, there are two killstreaks in the game. Upon a killstreak of 8, a player is granted an airdrop containing one of the special weapons or "specs" with limited ammo. After 16 kills, a player is granted an airdrop containing a mythical weapon. Items gained from airdrops are only usable for one-life, upon picking up the item.
As mentioned in-game:
- Killstreaks cannot be obtained in private servers
- Kills from disasters do not count towards killstreaks
- To obtain a killstreak, you must be in a server with more than 10 players
- Kills from Specs are counted as 0.25 of a kill
- Kills from Mythical weapons are counted as 0.75 of a kill
There are other conditions, but they are confidential to prevent killstreak abuse.
